I fell in love with that line from the song. I heard it from the online retreat created by the Jesuits.
I also loved the prayer here, intended to be prayed after you say all the things you ask from God...
But then, Lord,
I know in my heart of hearts
that more than myself,
You know what is best for me.
You want what is best for me.
And this moment, here and now,
I open my hands
and I open my heart
to receive that special gift
that You want to give to me today.
Surprise me, Lord.
Amen.
